Bright and comfortable one bedroom split level apartment in the center of Paris close to the Place des Vosges and the Picasso Museum. Located in the back of a famous Hotel Particulier facing a beautiful garden, this cozy, stylish and comfortable apartment is located on the third American floor in a historical building overlooking gardens and a pedestrian area. The apartment is within walking distance of the Musée Picasso, the Musée Carnavalet, the beautiful 17th century Place des Vosges and the Opéra Bastille. The area is full of interesting galleries, shops, cafes, and historic mansions. There is a choice of two open air markets, one on rue de Bretagne, and also a huge market held three times a week on boulevard Richard Lenoir where there is a seemingly endless amount of stalls selling wonderful cheeses, flowers, fruit, and vegetables, meat, and fish, clothes, etc. The furniture of the living room is in Directoire style. Dining table and chairs are made of wild cherry wood so as the sofa bed, the arm chair "bergère" and the coffee table. At the same level the kitchen is fully equipped: dishwasher, washer/dryer machine, refrigerator/freezer, two electric burners, oven/microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pots, dishes etc. A wooden staircase leads to the upper part of the apartment: bedroom with a king-size bed that can be converted into two single beds and a complete bathroom.
