Truly a unique way to experience Paris, This 82 ft. long houseboat is moored on the Seine in a very picturesquelocation between Pont Alexandre III, the most beautiful bridge in Paris, and Pont des Invalides. The spacious deck, perfect for entertaining and viewing the many bridges and the passing boats, is furnished with table, chairs, and deckchairs. On warm summer evenings, it is especially magical to watch the Eiffel Tower as it is illuminated at dusk. Below the deck, the main living area has wood floors with area rugs, warm wood paneled and white painted walls, and several large rectangular "portholes" with views to the river. The main room is comfortably furnished with a sofa bed, two leather armchairs, large coffee table, working fireplace, well stocked bookshelves, TV, desk, telephone and sound system. Separated from the main room by a breakfast bar, the kitchen is well equipped with four gas burners, sink, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, and washer/dryer. The adjacent dining table seats 6-8 people on an L-shaped banquette and Starck chairs. The guest bathroom, at one end of the living room, has a shower, basin and the only toilet. "Louise" is well equipped with dishes, sheets, and towels. Accessed through a small hallway with plenty of closet space, the main bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, two armchairs, and TV with cable. Also off this hallway, a second bath has bathtub with hand held shower, sink and wide vanity shelf with storage beneath. Central heating. Weekly maid service is available. Parking space provided. Situated in the heart of Paris, it is within walking distance of the Jardin des Tuileries, the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, Place de la Concorde and the Champs Elysées. Two nearby metro stops make it convenient to visit other areas of the city.
